He was born in Mersin in 1986. He started to music in 1991 with the piano and continued playing Ney in 1995. In 2001, he became Murat Atalayer's trombone student at Mersin University State Conservatory. In 2003, he transferred to Izmir Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory and continued his trombone education with Baki Onur. Between 2003-2005, He attended 'Chamber Music and Trombone' masterclasses with Conductor - Trombonist Prof. Monte Mumford and gave many Chamber Music and Soloist concerts. He worked in Izmir Kent Orchestra between 2005 and 2011. Meanwhile even with DESO (Dokuz Eylül Symphony Orchestra) between 2006 and 2011.


He attended Stefan Dohr's masterclasses in 2006 and Markus Maskunitty's Horn & Brass quintet masterclasses in 2007, and took part in Chamber Music concerts. In 2008, he attended Erden Bilgen's Trumpet and Chamber Music masterclasses. Between 2008 and 2011, he took part as a supporting Trombone player in the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra and the Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra. On 11.05.2009, he took part as a soloist in Henri Tomasi's work 'Fanfares Liturgigues' (Solo for brass and percussion instruments) accompanied by the Izmir Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory orchestra. In May and June 2010, He took part as a Bass Trombonist in Chamber Music concerts in Izmir, Adana and Mersin under the name Prof. Kerim Gürerk's Chamber Music Class. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory as a student of Baki Onur in June 2011, and in September of the same year, he started working as a bass trombone player at Mersin State Opera and Ballet, and he still continues to do so.
