Giuseppe Verdi’s eternal work “La Traviata” will be the first event of 4th International Efes Opera and Ballet Festival. La Traviata, which has been adapted to opera from Alexandre Dumas’ 'La Dame aux Camélias' novel, reflects the story of a young Parisienne Violetta Valery who is keen on living a posh and fancy life, will be performed with a large group of artists at Ephesus Ancient Theatre by the participation of İzmir State Opera and Ballet Soloists, Orchestra, Choir and Ballet. The work which is one of the most performed opera of repertoire around the World and tells a doomed love story has been produced by director Carlos VILAN. In this performance, Eylem DEMİRHAN DURU (Violetta Valery), Levent GÜNDÜZ (Alfredo Germont), Tamer PEKER (Giorgio Germont), Nazlı ALPTEKİN (Flora) and Evrim KESKİN (Annina) will perform leading roles with orchestra, choir and ballet under the baton of Tulio GAGLIARDO.
