He graduated from Hacettepe University's Ankara State Conservatory Ballet Department in 1998. From 1998 to 2010, he performed in numerous works with the Ankara State Ballet and the Modern Dance Company M.D.T.
In 2003, he received his Master's Degree from Istanbul University. He is still pursuing his PhD at Ankara University Institute of Educational Sciences, Fine Arts Education Doctoral Program, where he is continuing his thesis studies.
He worked as a senior Lecturer at Ankara University State Conservatory from 2006 and 2022.
Along with his dancing and academic careers, he also worked as a choreographer for state theaters, private ensembles connected to the ministry of culture, and state ballet and modern dance ensembles. He left the academy in 2022 and began working as a 'choreographer' for Ankara State Ballet in the 2022-2023 art season. He has created pieces for many award-winning dancers in addition to the ensembles. He is one of the founders of the 'SOLO International Contemporary Dance Festival,' which has been hosted by the CERModern Center for Modern Arts since 2017, and he serves on the festival's Artistic Committee and Selected Jury. He served as a jury member for a number of organizations, such as 'Solocoreografico Turin,' 'Solocoreografico Frankfurt,' and 'Jerusalem International Solo Dance Festival.' His productions have been seen in many cities, including Jerusalem, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, St. Petersburg, Berlin, and Turin.
